In the wild and lush setting of the Périgord, the Bournat campsite is ideally located in the town of Le Bugue, not far from major tourist sites such as Sarlat, Périgueux or Lascaux, on the banks of the river Vézère. Cleanliness is our top priority. Our teams clean the communal areas several times a day, a dedicated maintenance service looks after the green spaces, and our three swimming pools—including one heated and covered—are cleaned daily and kept in perfect condition.

For total relaxation, our family campsite features three swimming pools: two outdoor pools and a third one that is covered and permanently heated to 29°C. The campsite is also equipped with a children’s playground, several pétanque courts, a basketball court, and table tennis tables.

Le Bugue has many assets. This small town offers all the charm of Périgord villages while providing the advantages of a town. You will discover cobbled streets, old stone buildings, a beautiful bridge linking both riverbanks, pleasant riverside walks, and quiet terraces where you can enjoy a drink.
Le Bugue is home to a wide range of shops. You can choose between the famous local market, small farmers’ stalls, or larger stores such as Lidl, Les Comptoirs de la Bio, and Intermarché.
Le Bugue is also at the crossroads of places to visit in the Dordogne. You will be able to criss-cross the surroundings to discover the places of interest of the region such as caves, castles, cave dwellings, gardens, leisure parks… Lascaux and Sarlat are the most famous but the Périgord has many places of interest such as the Château des Milandes, the Château de Commarque, the Gardens of Marqueyssac, the Cave of Font de Gaume.
There are also many attractions within the town of Le Bugue such as the Parc du Bournat, the Aquarium du Périgord, rope walks and zip lines, the cave of Bara-Bahau, the Gouffre de Proumeyssac. The city is also very dynamic with many cultural, festive and gourmet events.
You can also take a canoe or kayak to Les Eyzies, Tursac or Le Moustier with Les Canoës du Bournat, fish in the Vézère for an abundance of fish, wander along the marked walks along wooded paths, or ride an electric bike with Station Bee’s !
