Camping du Bournat – Le Bugue – Périgord Noir
In the wild and lush setting of the Périgord, the Bournat campsite is ideally located in the town of Le Bugue, not far from major tourist sites such as Sarlat, Périgueux or Lascaux, on the banks of the river Vézère. It is in this preserved natural setting and across almost 4 hectares that our spacious, green and well delimited pitches are arranged. Holiday in a camper, caravan, tent or mobile home? In total, our 160 private and well-kept pitches meet all the needs of holidaymakers in search of fresh air, rest and fun with family or friends.

Whether in a tent, caravan, motor-home or mobil-home, we welcome you, throughout the high season, for one night, one week or more for your holiday in Le Bugue in the Dordogne Périgord Noir. In our family campsite, we take care to offer holidaymakers an optimal level of service. Cleanliness is our primary concern. Our teams clean the common areas several times a day to ensure clean and tidy sanitary facilities, a maintenance service is specially dedicated to the green areas, our three swimming pools, one of which is heated and covered, are maintained and impeccable on a daily basis.
We also try to offer services adapted to the expectations of the different clients and their specific needs whether they are campers, caravanners or renting a mobil-home. We aim for the highest quality and comfort while maintaining a reasonable price range to meet all budgets. And finally, our team is available for any questions, advice or a little chat.
For maximum relaxation, our family campsite has three swimming pools. Two outdoors and a third covered and permanently heated to 29°. It is also equipped with a children’s playground, several “pétanque” courts, ping-pong tables, a basketball court, trampolin.

Our holiday establishment, located in Le Bugue in the Périgord Noir, offers the perfect base for a holiday combining nature, heritage, gastronomy and the great outdoors. Its quality/price ratio, its geographical location, the nearby amenities in the dynamic town of Le Bugue, and the many tourist sites in the surrounding area such as the Lascaux Cave, Sarlat, Périgueux, make it an ideal formula for enjoying the region of 1001 castles, capital of Prehistory.
Flowered city, charming, calm but dynamic, Le Bugue has many assets. A small town, it has the cachet of the villages of the Périgord while bringing all the advantages of a city. You will find at Le Bugue, cobbled streets, old stones, a magnificent bridge linking the two banks, a bucolic stream flowing into the Vézère, banks where to stroll, quiet terraces where to sip a drink but also many small and large shops. You will be able to choose between the famous market, the farmers’ stalls or even Lidl and Intermarché.
You can also take a canoe or kayak to Les Eyzies, Tursac or Le Moustier with Les Canoës du Bournat, fish in the Vézère for an abundance of fish, wander along the marked walks along wooded paths, or ride an electric bike with Station Bee’s !
A strategic starting point to visit the Périgord
Le Bugue is also at the crossroads of places to visit in the Dordogne. You will be able to criss-cross the surroundings to discover the places of interest of the region such as caves, castles, cave dwellings, gardens, leisure parks… Lascaux and Sarlat are the most famous but the Périgord has many places of interest such as the Château des Milandes, the Château de Commarque, the Gardens of Marqueyssac, the Cave of Font de Gaume.
There are also many attractions within the town of Le Bugue such as the Parc du Bournat, the Aquarium du Périgord, rope walks and zip lines, the cave of Bara-Bahau, the Gouffre de Proumeyssac. The city is also very dynamic with many cultural, festive and gourmet events.
